Debbie Sexton has her Master’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Reading. Her certification is nationally accredited through the North Pacific Union Conference. Mrs. Sexton also has junior high endorsements in Science, Religion, and Business. With sixteen years of teaching experience, Mrs. Sexton’s favorite part about teaching Kindergarten is exploring God’s love with the children. She believes children should enjoy learning and that each child deserves individualized instruction for their learning level. When Mrs. Sexton is not busy getting hands-on activities ready for her Kindergarten class, she enjoys her own four children, as well as gardening, being outdoors, and being with family and friends.
One of Mrs. Sexton’s favorite Bible texts is Romans 8:38-39
“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
